Welcome to the brand new Escambia County website. If you’re a seasoned visitor to myescambia.com, you may have checked your URL twice when you landed on the page. Take a look around and you’ll notice a whole new look and feel — updated content, a more intuitive navigation, a comprehensive calendar of events, more photos and videos, as well as integration with social media. Planning for the new site began early this year, with the new My Escambia site gradually taking shape thanks to the input of County Departments, the expertise of in-house staff in our IT and Public Information functions and an assist from the local Escambia County web design and development firm, Clever Ogre. While we’re really pleased with the result (and hope you will be as well), this site will be a continual “work in progress,” growing and evolving, just like the County.
As with any new website, there may be a few glitches that need adjustment over the next few weeks, so please bear with us. We’ll be adding more content and have exciting plans for the continued growth of the site. We envision this becoming a “destination site” for residents and visitors alike — the first stop for anyone interested in learning more about our community.
If you were accustomed to the navigation on the old site, you’ll see a significant change — and, if you’ve bookmarked any pages on the site, they’ll be due for an update. My Escambia is a place where people can go to find out more about their community, do business and use government services, which is how the site is now structured. It is our hope you’ll be able to find the information you’re looking for, even without knowing what department (or even which agency) provides that service. If you still can’t find what you’re looking for, we now also have an A to Z Guide to services, which will take you directly to the information you seek.
We created this new site for you, the user, so please, let us know what you think. You can email us your feedback at email@example.com.
Thanks for visiting! We hope you’ll return again soon.
