The Recreation
and Special Services Division is responsible for
recreation programming and special event planning and development
in accordance with applicable Federal, State and Local regulations.
Other responsibilities
include management and supervision of the Escambia County
Equestrian Center; management and supervision of Lake Stone
Campground; Sponsorship/Foundation Development; Internship
and volunteer development and coordination; County employee
recreation and wellness development and programming; Contract
Management for Pensacola Shipyard Complex Agreement, Pensacola
Fishing Bridge Agreement, Athletic and Recreation Agreements
and Park License and Management Agreements with Youth/Adult
Associations.
