The Escambia County Parks and Recreation has recently developed 27 acres of the park to provide twelve baseball and softball fields and one football field. The park also contains restrooms, concessions, a playground and security lights. The Parks Department has partnered with the Cantonment Baseball Club and the Cantonment Football Club to organize and run various youth athletic programs within the park.
