Pensacola Beach Clean Up- April 14

Commissioner Grover Robinson, IV; the Santa Rosa Island Authority, Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce, and community volunteers removed trash from the Pensacola Beach roadways on Saturday, April 14. A Volunteer After Party, organized by the Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by local businesses, was held after the clean-up.

Commissioner Grover Robinson, IV welcomes clean up volunteers during the kick off ceremony.	Over 100 volunteers gave their time on April 14 to clean Pensacola Beach.	SRIA Chairman Vernon Prather addresses the crowd at the kick off.
Marines stationed at NAS Pensacola volunteered their time for the clean up.	Volunteers walked the roadway picking up trash and debris.	Commissioner Robinson, his daughter and aide, Becky Azelton participated in the clean up.
Trash and debris collected by volunteers were picked up by county crews.	The clean up included a household hazardous waste drop off.	Residents brought household hazardous waste like paint and gas for free disposal.
