Permits and Franchise Agreements: Businesses that wish to engage in collection, transportation, and disposal of waste or debris must obtain a Solid Waste Management permit prior to commencing operations in Escambia County. Companies engaged in the business of collecting and disposing of commercial solid waste are required to obtain a Non-Exclusive Long Term Franchise Agreement in addition to the Solid Waste Management Permit.

Escrow Account Information: Entities who desire to utilize the convenience of a charge account when disposing of solid waste at the Perdido Landfill must utilize an escrow account to do so. Each customer with this account must "deposit" a minimum of two months' estimated disposal costs with perdido landfill accounting department. Payment can be by cash, check, bond, or irrevocable letter of credit. In order to establish this account please complete the respective forms. |
