Perdido Key Master Plan Public Meeting Video

A community meeting for the Perdido Key Master Plan was held on April 4 at the Perdido Bay Community Center. The Perdido Key Master Plan is a comprehensive document that guides development and future growth of the community, based on public input, planning initiatives, existing development, physical and environmental characteristics, and social and economic conditions. It includes analysis, recommendations and proposals for housing, transportation, facilities, land use and economy. The plan helps decision makers maintain a balance between protection and conservation and growth and development. The information contained in the plan is intended to guide decisions related to public and private use of land and public facilities in a manner compatible with the land’s character and adaptability, thus promoting good stewardship of resources.

Zoning Information, Zoning Inquiries & Land Use Verifications

Due to the various zoning districts in unincorporated Escambia County, the zoning of your property depends upon its location. To provide you accurate zoning information, planning staff need both your property reference number and your address. The property reference number is found on your property tax bill or receipt. With this 16-digit number in hand, we can locate your parcel or lot on our zoning maps and determine both your zoning and future land use (FLU) designations.
