Jeff Bergosh, District 1

2017/18 Chairman

Jeff Bergosh was elected to the commission in 2016. He served as board chairman for 2017-18, vice-chairman for 2016-17, and chairman of both the Value Adjustment Board and the Florida Alabama Transportation Planning Organization in 2018.  Bergosh previously served on the Escambia School Board from 2006-16.

Bergosh grew up in a military family and he’s lived all over the world-including 24 years in Pensacola.  His family has lived in Beulah since 2004.

Jeff has worked as a civilian contractor employee supporting the U.S. Navy’s training mission locally for many years.  He’s currently the Facilities/Engineering Annex Manager for Erica Lane Enterprises, Inc.; his previous local employers include Information Network Services, Lockheed Martin Information Technology Services, CH2MHill/VT Griffin and Irby Engineering & Construction.

Bergosh graduated from Pensacola High School, holds a BA from San Diego State University and a Master of Science in public administration from the University of West Florida.

Commissioner Bergosh actively interfaces with his constituents via monthly coffee meetings, frequent town hall meetings, and online via Facebook and blogger sites he operates independently.
