Fleet Maintenance

The Escambia County Fleet Division ensures vehicles and equipment are safe and fully operational by performing preventative maintenance and repair services on light, heavy and miscellaneous vehicles/equipment on a scheduled basis. The Fleet Division also serves/assists county departments in vehicle and equipment acquisition, ensuring equipment is identified with all necessary decals and logos. The division manages the GPS monitoring program for all departments and is also responsible for the county’s surplus vehicle/equipment program.

Additionally, the Fleet Division also oversees the function of fuel distribution, managing all fuel and lubricant purchases, storage and distribution to all county staff and elected officials’ agencies, while maintaining 32 storage sites with nine fueling islands, nine fire stations and 14 generator sets.
